A Little Help from My Friends

First I would like to thank my readers. I write this blog as a Journal of my life here. I write about my family, places I go and things I see or notice living here as a Foreigner in a Foreign country.

I would like to write more but at times I do not know what to write about.

Because of this I would like my readers to place a comment if there are things you would like to know about the Philippines, Mindanao or Davao.

If you live in another country and think about visiting here, or even moving here, I would welcome questions about things you would be interested in knowing.

If you live in another country and have no plans to visiting here but still have things or questions you would like answers to, I would be glad to try to answer or inform you too.

If you’re a Filipino and want to know about my life here from a Foreigners perspective I would welcome that too.

If your thinking of moving here and have questions about moving here or what to do once your here, I would like to help as best as I can.

So, please help me inform all of you to make this blog a more informative and enjoyable place to spend your time.

Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of my visitors.

More photos, Bruce! Try to post something like "A Day In The Life Of" and document through pics that day. Just a suggestion! :)

Bruce,
It seems like you are enjoying yourself in the Philippines, I am happy to hear that. I do enjoy reading your blogs. My wife is actually heading to the Phils. in March for a month. She is going on a medical mission for a few days and is also going to see her family in Bacolod. I will not be able to make it this time. hopefully, i will be able to make it in January.

Good Luck,
Lee Golden/Florida

Mia,
Thank you for visiting the site and your comment. Your idea of a day in the life... made me smile. Most days we are at home, drive to go to the markets, or visit an expat meeting or visit a friend.
I do want to go out and take photos of the different types of houses here and write about that. It is just difficult to just carry a camra around and photo things as you drive. I will try to think of things to photograph and tell about.

Lee,
Thanks for your visiting. Life is different here but I try to enjoy it. I really enjoy meeting and talking to locals.
I hope someday you will come visit here too and maybe extend your trip here to Davao.
How is life there? Are you still with Stanpac? Email me if you like to let me know how everyone from there is doing. Say hi to your folks and all at the main office. I miss the good ol days when I had you guys as my client.

Bruce,
I am still with Stanpac. Things are pretty slow. however, we are still getting some sales at monterey. Life is good, i have no real complaints. My folks are doing well. chris o. and Dave miller are still here at Monterey. We plan on going to the Philippines in Dec/Jan for 3 to 4 weeks. We may be able to head south for a few days to see Davoa. Life seems to less stressfull in the philippines. Enjoy it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks,
Lee
